Summer Internship in New York – Research – Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
A paid summer internship opportunity at one of the best institutes and in the greatest city of the world. What more could one have asked for? CSHL is a National Science Foundation offering research positions with a specific focus on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB). The last date to apply is 15th January, 2013 – hurry!
About the internship: – CSHL’s Undergraduate Research Program (URP) provides one of the few places where young people are instructed in the techniques of modern biology while becoming integrated members of a vibrant scientific community. The selected interns will work with senior Laboratory staff members on independent research projects in:
- Cancer Biology
- Neuroscience
- Plant Biology
- Cellular and Molecular Biology
- Genetics
- Bioinformatics and Genomics
Who can apply: – Undergraduate students in their 2nd or 3rd year of study can apply.
Location: – New York
Duration: – 10 weeks (between 4th June – August 10th, 2013)
Stipend: – $5,000 + free accommodation
