Summer Project- Bhabha Atomic Research Centre
BARC, one of the most prestigious research centres in India, is inviting students for Summer Project. BARC offers challenging opportunities to bright youngsters to excel in the frontline areas of research and development of cutting edge technologies. It’s an unpaid programme, but it’s a great programme to fortify one’s knowledge.
About BARC: – BARC is the result of farsightedness of Dr. Bhabha to start nuclear research in India at a time following the discovery of nuclear fission phenomena by Otto Hahn and Fritz Strassman and soon after Enrico Fermi Etal from Chicago reporting the feasibility of sustained nuclear chain reactions. BARC is a devoted research institution in the field of Nuclear Physics and it has achieved several milestones since the dawn of its establishment.
Who can apply: – Bonafide students in the third or fourth year of under-graduate engineering programme and science students in post graduate programmes may apply for undertaking project work/training, as a part of their academic curriculum, in various engineering disciplines (namely Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer) and basic sciences (namely physics, chemistry, biology) for duration not less than three months.
Location: – BARC, Mumbai.
Duration: – Minimum 3 months.
