Summer Research Program 2013/2014 – Neuroscience – Queensland Brain Institute
Queenslamd Brain Institute is accepting applications from students with excellent academic achievement and a desire to pursue a future in neuroscience research to spend up to 10 weeks contributing to research projects currently underway in th institutes laboratories. The application deadline is 3oth August, 2013- hurry!
About Queensland Brain Institute : – Researchers at the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) work to discover the cellular and molecular mechanisms that underlie the ability of the adult brain to generate new nerve cells and form functional connections.
About the internship : – It’s a paid, 10 weeks long research internship programme. It’s perfect opportunity for the Students fascinated and motivated by the potential of a research career in neuroscience. Please refer to QBIs official website for a detailed information on the programme.
Who can apply : – Students who are enrolled in the relevant courses and have at least completed two years of their of the coursework are invited to apply.
Location: – University of Queensland, Brisben, Australia.
Duration: –10 weeks (starting from November 18th, 2013)
Stipend: –$300 per week + Travel grant ( upto $ 1000).
