Molecular Biology Summer Research Program provides full-time internships in basic laboratory research related to gene therapy of cystic fibrosis, other genetic diseases, cancer, and vaccines. It’s a ten week paid internship program. The application deadline is February 11, 2013-hurry!
About Perelman School of Medicine: – Perelman School of Medicine was founded in 1765. Since the dawn of its establishment the School has been a strong presence in the community and prides itself on educating the leaders of tomorrow in patient care, biomedical research, and medical education.
About Internship: – Selected students will be doing research in the field of cancer biology, cell biology, physiology, immunology, cardiovascular disease, developmental biology, virology, etc.
Who can apply: – Undergraduate students from the background Life Science, Biotechnology or related field. Please refer to MBSRPU-2013 website for detailed information on eligibility criteria.
Location: – Philadelphia, USA.
Duration: – 10 weeks (From June 3rd to August 9th).
Stipend: – Interns will receive a stipend of $3500.
