Summer school programme at Technion Israel Institute of Technology – Israel
Technion – Israel Institute of Technology has announced a summer school programme for Engineering students. While students have to pay for the programme, there are some really good scholarships available for India students. The application deadline is June 1st, 2013, but scholarships are limited – hurry!
About Technion : – Technion — Israel Institute of Technology is Israel’s premier center of science and technology education and applied research. Founded in 1912, Technion is Israel’s oldest university and is home to a superb faculty including three Nobel Laureates, 13,000 students, 18 faculties and more than 40 research institutes.
About the internship: – The summer program allows students to create a rigorous academic experience that combines 1 or 2 advanced courses with an exciting social and cultural program at Israel’s premier center of science and technology education and applied research. Courses include Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics.
Who can apply: – Anyone can apply for the summer program. In order to apply for the scholarship you need to be a student (BSc, B Tech, MSc, PhD) with a citizenship of India.
Location: – Israel. Network with fellow interns in Israel via Internconnect.
Duration: – 31st July – 30th August 2013
Stipend: – The cost of the program is $3500 including tuition, housing and all other activities. Under Israeli Government sponsorship, excellent students from India will receive a scholarship covering full tuition costs for the program, including housing in Technion’s international village dormitories, daily lunch at a Technion cafeteria (5 days a week) and a monthly allowance of $250. Please note that the scholarship does not include airfare.
