The State University of New York Upstate Medical University, College of Graduate Studies is offering fellowships for its 2013 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Program. The aim of the SURF program is to expose undergraduate students to biomedical research.
About the Upstate Medical University: – The Upstate Medical University Executive Team serves as the cabinet to the President and provides a high-level cross-functional view of every aspect of the institution. Upstate Medical University is dedicated to improve the biomedical research and health care.
About the fellowship: – The selected candidates will be carrying out research under the supervision of university faculty. It’s a paid internship programme and each fellow will receive a sum of $3000 for the period.
Who can apply : – Undergraduates majoring in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field are invited apply for this programme. Please refer to SURF official website.

Stipend: – Each fellow will be provided a $3,000 stipend for the period plus housing.
