5 simple tips to write a great internship JD
Your company is great and team, incredible! But applicants don’t know it (as they haven’t seen it, or might not even have read about it). All they see is, your internship job description. The trick to getting them excited about your internship opportunity lies in how well you make your internship post. Below are the five simple tips you should try –
1. Write an exciting company description – So that when applicants read, they say: what a great place to intern!
2. Profile you’re hiring interns for– Should give applicants a clear idea if the internship is relevant for them. It’s just a teaser for the right candidates to open your internship post ;) But always avoid cliches like Ninja or Superstar – they get you nothing but irrelevant applications.
3. What are interns’ responsibilities – They should know beforehand what exactly they will be working on. Be specific and precise.
4. The qualifications you’re looking for- Clearly mention the skill-set and academic background you’re looking for.
5. And, most importantantly, stipend – People respond to incentives Applicants respond to stipend. Be generous.
