Vienna Biocenter Summer School 2013 – Life Sciences – Vienna
A perfect summer program for those students who are interested in graduate study in the life sciences arena. The Vienna Biocenter Summer School provides a unique opportunity for 25 undergraduate students from all over world to work side by side with leading researchers in a dynamic scientific environment. An all expense paid foreign internship, the last date to apply is 17th February, 2013 – hurry!
About the Internship: – The School is a collaboration between four of Europe‘s leading research institutes:
- Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP),
- Institute of Molecular Biotechnology (IMBA),
- Max F. Perutz Laboratories (MFPL),
- Gregor Mendel Institute (GMI)
And consists of an independent research project, a lecture series, a scientific symposium and a social program. More details about the participating research institutes and the components of the summer school can be viewed here
Who can apply: – Undergraduate students who have completed at least two years of university study. Applicants are expected to have a good academic record, provide a statement of their research interests, their curriculum vitae and evidence of enrollment at their institution.
Location: – Vienna
Duration: – June 28th – August 30th, 2013
Stipend: – Free accommodation + airfare + 800 Euros/month stipend + an unlimited travel pass for public transport with in Vienna
