Winter Internship in New Zealand – Research – University of Auckland
The University of Auckland provides scholarships to students to pursue research in their institute under the guidance of an academic staff. It is an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience in practical case studies, projects, laboratory experiments and presentation skills. About the internship: – The purpose of summer research scholarships (since New Zealand is in a different hemisphere, the summer there is winter in India, hence the difference in the post title and the actual link) is to give university students, normally in their final or penultimate undergraduate year, experience in research, to encourage them to pursue postgraduate study.
Who can apply: – This opportunity is meant for international students. To be eligible for a summer research scholarship, you must have:
- Completed year two of an undergraduate degree.
- A minimum B+ average grade equivalent to a GPA of 6.
- A clearly defined project and a suitable supervisor willing to supervise the project
Location: – University of Auckland, New Zealand
Duration: – 10 weeks (between December – February)
Stipend: – $5000
