Platform Apps Engg Intern (Job ID 616991) : – This 9-12 months internship opportunity starting June/July 2012 is for Masters students with good knowledge of Intel architecture and competency with computer technology. The selected interns would work with Intel Architecture Group (IAG) which delivers innovative platforms across computing and communication segments including data centers, mobile and desktop personal computers, handhelds, embedded devices and consumer electronics. The last date to apply is April 28, 2012.
Strategic Initiatives Intern (Job ID 618446) : – Intel India Strategic Initiatives team explores and pilots strategic programs for Intel in India to address upcoming needs from emerging markets like India. As part of this team the key Projects Interns will work on are:
1. Assist in enabling Android / Linux / Open source OS on Intel Atom Innovation kit
2. Build example usage models/cases to showcase Intel Atom Innovation kit
3. Create unique setups/curriculum lab exercises for use in engineering colleges on Intel Atom Innovation kit
Key skills required are:
1. Good understanding of operating system concepts
2. Exposure to rebuild Linux kernel/Android stack, innovative approach to implement ideas
3. Understanding of Intel platforms will be a great plus
4. Fast learner and ability to quickly debug software stack issues
The last date to apply is May 31, 2012.
Human Factors Engineer Intern (Job ID 618301) : – This internship is for students pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a Human Factors related discipline. Previous work experience and/or internships, preferably in the software industry, are desired. Typical majors include: Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Visual Communications, Social Computing, Software Ergonomics, Cognitive Science, Human Factors Engineering, Applied Psychology] and Industrial Engineering, with emphasis on above. Preference would be given to a candidate who has experience/knowledge in planning/setting up/conducting usability tests and surveys.
